Dowman do not use agents for their items and communicate directly with the factories in the Far East. Dowman have just built a new manufacturing plant in Shanghai. The factory is purpose built for the manufacture of soft toys. The manufacturing area is divided into sections for the preparation of materials, sewing, eye and accessory fixing, stuffing, spraying, quality control and finally packing for transit.
